    IBM links 17 banks to the SWIFT ledger, but the cloud risk persists

    IBM opened a beta connection between its Digital Asset Haven platform and SWIFT's shared ledger, letting 17 participating banks instruct tokenized-deposit transactions through an ISO 20022 messaging adapter, alongside a separate on-premises Haven beta for institutions keeping the platform and key management in their own IBM Z or LinuxONE data centers.
